We are Johan and Ina Westra and have four children. We are the fourth generation of Westra who have a farm on this spot. The Westra family came from Glanerbrug to Notter in the 1920s to start a farm. The Notterveld was originally an area with a lot of heathland and poor sandy soil. The small farmhouse is also from this time. It is a worker's house with a stable that provided space for ten cows and six young stock. The house deviates from the traditional construction of this area. The large house was built in 1953. The right part of the large house is now converted into a Bed and Breakfast.

We have a farm with young cattle and dairy cows. Meanwhile, our dairy farm has expanded with several side branches such as a craft carpentry business. In recent years the idea was also born to start a Bed and Breakfast for the many hikers and cyclists who are attracted by the varied landscape of Twente.
